Task 10 – Supporting Opinions

The Structure of Opinions:

1. Opening statement.
Simply and clearly state your belief or viewpoint. It usually takes one or two sentences.

Example:
拒绝购买中国制造的商品绝对是一种错误。

2. Supporting Facts:
Try to give at least one or two examples to support your opening statement. Let the facts speak and help people understand the reasons behind your opinion.

(1) 找到非中国制造的产品很辛苦，常常找不到替代的产品。
(2) 即使找到了替代的产品，可是价格也很高。
(3) 如果家里孩子多，一年下来，普通工薪家庭无法承受这样的代价。

3. Conclusion:
Summarize your points by using one or two sentences to wrap up. Make sure your conclusion has a logical connection to your supporting facts.

Example:
以上事实说明，拒绝购买中国制造的商品是一个错误的做法。中国产品不但没有破坏美国经济，反而起到了稳定美国经济的作用。
