Task 8 – Role Play with Complications

Role Play:

All survival situations with complications.
For example: book a hotel; buy concert tickets on the phone; schedule another flight to your destination city; make a dental appointment; return merchandise; find a tutor; negotiate a better rent rate, etc.

Key: Actively perform as REAL as possible and use authentic sentences and expressions to interact with your tester and solve the problematic situation.

In this task, higher scores will only be given to students who act as if in a real-life situation and creatively find solutions to the problem.

NOTE WELL:
Those who have limited interaction and quit trying to find solutions to the complication will certainly NOT be appreciated or awarded by OPI testers.
